Otin ADGEXiin yhteyttä, ja he pyysivät lähettämään molemmat lamput kiinaan.

Valitettavasti.

Tervetuloa Eki:lle keskustelemaan aiheesta kuin aiheesta,

aikoinaan itse allekirjoittaneena tilasin Sweitsistä kirjallista materiaalia aiheeseen Transkommunikaatio, niistä papereista selvisi että radiovastaanottimen jolla näitä henkipuheluita tuotetaan täytyy olla skannerityyppinen eli sen täytyy ikäänkuin juosta taajuuskaistaa läpi esim 800 khz:tä 1600 khz:iin ja sitten takaisin sillä henkimaailman heput ei kykene pitämään lähetystaajuuttaan vakaana, mutta heidän on helpompi pyyhkiä jotenkin pitkin taajuuskaistaa, enkä ymmärrä että millä periaatteella.

Hesassa on joku Ghostbusters ryhmä (kaksi veljestä) jotka ammatikseen käy tutkimassa kummitustaloja teknisillä vehkeillään, Luin aiheesta aivan vastikään Hymy lehden artikkelin.

Heillä on myös tämmöinen taajuuskaistaa pitkin kulkeva skanneriradio josta niitä henkiolentojen puheita kuuluu niissä kummituspaikoissa.

Ilmeisesti Youtubessa AAVEDATA kanava kertookin juuri heidän tutkimuksistaan:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQUxRgcUggs

Näillä henkimaailman hepuilla on vaikeuksia tuottaa sähkömagneettisia aaltoja, mutta taas Sähköstaattisuuden vaihteluita he pystyy tuottamaan helpostikkin, jopa tuottamaan ääntä staattisuuden kautta.

Ilmaisuun sopivan germanium diodin esim. 1N34 hinta on luokkaa 0,10 €!

YOU MAY HAVE BUILT A TESLA COIL, BUT WHAT ABOUT A TESLA RADIO?

THIS AMAZING SHORTWAVE RECEIVER DRAWS ITS POWER

DIRECTLY FROM THE AIR!

Build the Radione

by Nick Goss

1994 Nuts and Volts Magazine

(Based on Nikola Tesla's U.S.Patent #725,605 14 Apr, 1903)

It's a cold winter's night; too cold in fact to be outside. Sitting at your workbench, comfortable and quiet, you are putting the finishing touches on your new Radione short-wave receiver. With a the last component carefully soldered in place, you unplug the soldering iron and smile as the exotic sound of a far-off land fills your ears. Your mind's eye is suddenly transported thousands of miles across the Atlantic Ocean. "I think it's Germany, or perhaps France," you muse as the sounds of a street cafe and festival swirl past. A young girl is talking to her father in a foreign language. Slowly rotating the Tetra Coil control knob, you move instantly a hundred miles back across the English Channel and into London itself. A British announcer reads the BBC's top news stories with a crisp accent. You are amazed at the clarity of the reception. With your eyes closed, your attention next shifts to a missionary in Africa. You can almost feel the searing heat of the Congo.

Talk about virtual reality, this is great! Producing crystal clear signals, right out of thin air, is your new Radione's specialty. Of all the projects you have built, this one takes the cake! The Radione is handsome as a decorative "set about" object on your desk or bench. Visitors are always astonished that your electronic skills have created something so wonderful. That's the essence of the Radione!

If you're like me, the thrill of exploring the far-reaches of the World while sitting comfortably in your home-shop or lab is irresistible. Just as Nikola Tesla anticipated over a hundred years ago, our modern world is awash with man-made electromagnetic signals that run the entire width of the spectrum. Utilizing some of Tesla's little known concepts, it may surprise you to discover that it is possible to construct a machine that draws its operating power directly from the air. Sound interesting? Join me to discover how a handful of junk-box parts can permanently change the way you view our world.

RADIONE OVERVIEW

As you know, radio signals are electromagnetic. Tesla experimented extensively with early radio apparatus of his own design. From communications, to what he called "telemechanics," Tesla was able to demonstrate many, many devices that could "send energy through the Natural Media."

Today, we take radio reception for granted, in that we use it in conjunction with AM and FM radio, television, and satellite services. Even though fundamentally all receivers operate by exploiting the same physics principles, many of Tesla's radios differ from modern radios in that they derived their own electrical power directly from the transmission source. Early crystal radios were able to operate limitedly using this concept, but suffer from lack of gain and selectivity.

Enter the RADIONE! Using a couple of modern, high-gain silicon transistors and the clever Tesla-style Tetra Coil, you can make your own amazing Tesla-powered short-wave receiver! So, if you are ready to have some fun, brush-up on your radio theory, astound friends, and make Nikola smile, let's get started!

RADIONE THEORY

For the next few minutes, forget what you know about radio. . Forget about crystals, IF transformers, oscillators, synthesizers, discriminators, etc. To really understand the genius of the radio pioneers, let's look at radio from their perspective; how to build a simple machine that will directly convert one form of energy to another. Really, what is the easiest and most efficient way to convert electromagnetic radiation directly into an audible form that we can hear? Many seasoned radio enthusiasts will quickly say, "crystal radio." While it is the simplest, I suggest that the Radione is the simplest AND most efficient of the options currently available to us.

To understand how the Radione works, take a look at Figure 1, the schematic. You will probably be initially impressed with how simple the short-wave receiver circuit is. The most unusual feature of the Radione is the TELTENNA. While the TELTENNA can be as simple as a ten foot length of hook-up wire, ideally it will actually be a large metal object. In most cases, the larger the metal object, the better the reception! I personally like to use my file cabinet, but you should fed free to use your car, the bed-springs, some pie pans, or a long-wire antenna.

The TELTENNA functions by collecting electromagnetic energy radiated by distant transmitters, as well as local radio/television stations, satellite systems, telephones, your computer, and even the house wiring itself. Notice that the TELTENNA is connected directly to the outer portion of the Tetra Coil, called LI. In series with L1 is a l2OpF capacitor C7 which forms a series resonate circuit and serves us by isolating the electrical signals in the TELTENNA/L1 path from Earth ground. Electromagnetic signals received by the TELTENNA will range in frequency from a few Hertz to Mega Hertz (MHz).

These received signals are useful for two reasons: First, we wish to receive and listen to signals that oscillate from 500,000 cycles per second up to about 12,000,000 cycles per second. Within this portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, countries all over the world communicate one another using voice, Morse Code, facsimile, radio teletype, etc. Second, the Radione needs all of the electrical energy it can absorb to help power the active conversion process Because your Radione is so thirsty for power the larger the TELTENNA, the more and better reception you will enjoy.

To convert the "free-air" electromagnetic energy into useful electrical power, diodes D1 through D4 form a simple bridge rectifier. As high and low frequency signals appear across C7, they are depolarized and applied to the virtual positive and. negative supply points on the Radione. Capacitor C5 filters and smoothes the ripple and sudden surges in the incoming RF (Radio Frequency) signal. Amazingly, your Radione can synthesize its own DC power source up to as high as six volts, right out of thin air! Although the current is limited, there is more than enough to power many practical devices (calculators, radios, etc). This is the essence of Tesla's radio. Free energy for all to enjoy!

Next, notice from the printed circuit board artwork provided with the project, that the Tetra Coil is formed from a basic geometric pattern. Essentially a folded-coil within a coil, the Tetra Coil selectively couples energy. from the L1 section to the tuned L2 section. When capacitor C4, the Band Select capacitor, is installed on the Radione front panel, it tunes the L2/C4 circuit to resonate at a specific frequency in the range from .5-12 MHz.

By placing a wiper arm in direct contact with the L2 section of the Tetra Coil, we are free to vary the inductance of L2, and consequently, the I received frequency. This RF tuned signal is coupled into the base of Q1 through coupling capacitor C1. Notice in Figure 1 that Q1 is very lightly biased by R1, a 10 meg resistor. Notice also that R2, Q1's collector resistor, is a very high value. This limits the amount of operating current available to Q1, and keeps the device from loading the low-current supply line. As tuned RF signals are amplified by Q1's NPN crystalline structure, they are detected and rectified to yield their base-board AC audio component.

Capacitor C3 and TONE control potentiometer R5 allow the operator to adjust the spectral content of the audio. I like to run my Radione wide open, but you may want to roll-off the high frequency response for more comfort able listening.

Audio signals are next coupled to the base transistor Q2, the audio amplifier. You will notice that Q2 is biased in the same fashion as Q1, with the exception that a 1 meg VOLUME potentiometer replaces a 220k collector resistor. Believe it or not, a VOLUME control is an important feature on your Radione. Late at night, when the skip is right, those distant stations will swamp the crystal earphones EP1 and EP2!

I say crystal earphone here for a reason. Don't try to use low-impedance earphones from your Sony Walkman or similar radio because they wont work. EP1 and EP2 must be of the crystal type.

While you can get by with only one earphone, one for each ear really makes a big difference. The fidelity of my Radione is astonishing. The phase-changes induced in the late-night sky wave do a great Dolby Surround Sound number!

You can t find anything suitable to use for a TELTENNA, you can connect a 9 volt battery through a 100k resistor, R6, to provide power. (I would venture to guess that a battery would probably operate your Radione continuously for over a year.)

Well, that's it for the theory. Now that we are ready to put Tesla's concepts to work, let's make him envious by using the most modern construction techniques we can muster!

RADIONE CONSTRUCTION

While it may be possible to hack together a Radione, I suspect that your results will be very disappointing. Instead, take the guess-work out of the project by carefully fabricating a printed circuit from the full-size artwork provided. While any standard fabrication method can be made to work, pay close attention to the geometric detail in the Tetra Coil. THE TETRA COIL MUST BE PERFECT FOR YOUR RADIONE TO WORK PROPERLY! If your PC board fabrication technique is lacking, consider obtaining a pre-etched/predrilled, ready-to-wire PC board from the source listed in the Parts List. Even the slightest micro-fracture or void in the coil traces will seriously affect your Radione's performance. Additionally, the aspect ratio of trace width to bare board will affect the overall performance of the Tetra Coil.

Notice that many of the pads/holes on the Radione PC board artwork DON'T GET DRILLED! Most of the components mount from the foil-side of the card so don't get drill happy. Remember to take your time and work slowly and carefully. Your finished Radione will only look as good as your finished PC board. You can use a small keyhole or hacksaw to cut the outside dimensions of the PC board and finish it with a flat file. Again, work slowly and carefully to avoid damaging the card.

Next, begin mounting the various components as indicated in Figure 2, the pictorial diagram. Because the various resistors and capacitors are mounted on the foil-side of the card, you will need to pre-cut the lead lengths and top-solder them into place. Watch for solder bridges and cold solder joints when working from the foil-side. Short lengths of wire can be used to connect the potentiometer leads to the PC board.

With the Resistors and Capacitors in place, carefully mount the transistors Q1 and Q2 next. The leads should be about 1/8" long and properly oriented as indicated in Figure 2.

The Band Capacitor, Antenna, and Earth connectors are push-through types that solder directly to the PC board. Be careful when soldering the connectors in place, in that too much solder will quickly fill the center of the connectors and damage them. Test the connectors by pushing several Band Capacitors into place from the front side of the PC board.

Using small hook-up or wire-wrap wire, configure the Tetra Coil leads as indicated in Figures 1 and 2. Be sure to use neat point-to-point techniques that keep the coil wires above the Tetra Coil itself, and out of the way of the Tetra Coil Wiper Arm.

To construct the Wiper Arm, carefully remove the back cover of a suitable potentiometer. I used a standard 1 meg unit, exactly like R4 or R5. Using a pair of long-nose pliers, simply fold the holding tabs back out of the way and pull the back cover away from the main body of the pot. Next, set the pot mechanism aside and cut out the brass or copper Wiper Arm contact as detailed in Figure 2. Be sure to place a small upward curl at the end of the Wiper Arm that contacts the Tetra Coil. This will let the Wiper Arm slide smoothly across the foil traces of the Tetra Coil without excessively wearing them in the process.

Using five minute epoxy or super glue, carefully mount the Wiper Arm on the rotating disc of the pot mechanism. Double-check your work frequently to make sure that none of the glue has dripped down near the shaft. Wipe off any excess glue immediately or you won't end up with an adjustable coil! Finish up the control by soldering the Wiper Arm contact wire to the Wiper Arm as indicated in Figure 2. As a last detail, you should glue a left and right arm-stop peg on the foil-side of the PC board. These stops can be made from nylon spacers, small wooden dowels, or about any small non-conducting object. The stops serve us by preventing the Tetra Coil Wiper Arm from moving too far across the L2 portion of the coil and shorting to the L1 side. While this action wouldn't really cause any problems, it can cause an annoying click in the earphones.

Three old-time-type wooden dowels should be used as standing spacers for your Radione. Because you will want your Tesla Radio to look as authentic as possible, use small #4 wood screws and glue to mount the three legs on the foil side of the PC board. These legs will let you operate your Radione either standing up or sitting down flatly on a table.

To finish assembling your Radione, solder a 20 foot length of #22 (or smaller) RED hook-up wire to the pad marked ANT (Antenna). In a similar fashion, solder a second 20 foot length of BLACK wire to the pad marked GND (Ground). I like to put a large alligator clip on the end of each wire to make it easier to attach to metal TELTENNA objects.

When not in use, the ANT and GND wires can be wrapped around the three dowel spacers legs. If you wish to connect a longer TELTENNA or Earth wire to your Radione, simply connect it to the unit via the front panel push-pin connectors.

Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of a Radione!

RADIONE OPERATION

When first checking out a Radione, I like to use a 9 volt battery with a 100k series resistor. Connect the battery using a standard battery clip as you monitor the unit with the crystal earphones. If you live near a broadcast station, you may begin to hear music immediately. In order for the Radione to operate properly, you should connect the black GND wire to a metal object that is indeed grounded to the Earth. Water pipes, antenna grounding rods, metal beams attached to the foundation, etc., are best.

USING A VOLTMETER, CHECK THE POTENTIAL BETWEEN THE METAL OBJECT YOU PLAN TO USE AS AN ANTENNA (TELTENNA) BEFORE CONNECTING THE RADIONE RED WIRE!

While your Radione is designed to rectify and utilize the electrical energy it receives, excessive voltage may damage it and INJURE YOU! I always check the TELTENNA with a good high-impedance voltmeter or DMM BEFORE connecting my Radione.

Believe it or not, in some cases very high voltages can exist between metal objects located in your house or shop and the Earth ground. Sitting next to television sets, microwave ovens, etc., the TELTENNA can be highly charged.

Further, in some instances, the metal object that you are considering as a good TELTENNA candidate may have been damaged or modified in such a way that places 120 VAC on the metal case itself! Good examples include refrigerators, old metal-cased test equipment, ovens, etc. That's why I like to check them with a meter first.

Even though your Radione is coupled to ground through a capacitor, and in theory is completely isolated, don't connect to anything measuring higher than about 20 volts. Check first, then connect.

With several good TELTENNA objects selected and measured, connect the red ANT lead. You should hear some static, or even a faint signal. Next, select a Band Capacitor and install it in the front panel. Now, slowly rotate the Tetra Coil Control Knob across its arc. Listen carefully for a station that you can distinguish clearly. Micro adjust the Tetra Coil, first to the left of center, and then to the right of center to locate the optimum tuning point.

Remember that the Tetra Coil is symmetrically tuned about the vertical center line. This is to say that band tuning is almost the same on the left side of center as it is on the right side. The slight difference in inductance from side to side will let you micro-adjust the L2/C4 tuned circuit perfectly.

With a station selected, try moving the red ANT lead to the next TELTENNA. You can immediately tell whether or not it is a better antenna than the last.

Using this process, locate the best TELTENNA in the house or lab. Try several different Band Capacitors while sweeping the Tetra Coil. When you are satisfied that the receiver section is working properly, unplug the 9 volt battery. Your Radione should continue to operate properly. If not, you may need to find a different TELTENNA; one that will provide more excitation voltage.

LIGHTNING WARNING

While most of us know better, it is sometimes easy to forget about the damaging effects of cloud-to-ground lightning. For the sake of your safety, as well as others, follow these guidelines:

1) Don't listen to your Radione in a storm lightning might strike nearby and induce millions of volts into your TELTENNA! You wouldn't want to be listening at a time like that. That is also good advice for any type of radio or television. Many people are injured each year when lightning strikes phone and electrical lines, fences, etc. Play it safe and unplug well before the storm.

2) Disconnect your Radione from its TELTENNA when not in use. You may not be home when a storm strikes, so always disconnect.

3) Take down or disconnect and ground any outside antenna you might construct for use with your radio equipment. I suggest that you pick up a copy of the Radio Amateur's Handbook to learn more about antenna safety. Hams are experts at avoiding lightning related problems, and you can learn many of their best techniques simply by reading.

I have read that Nikola Tesla used to sit by en windows during large electrical storms, and utter to himself excitedly. I think that he was probably distressed at the thought of all that perfectly good electrical energy going to waste!

Although a lot of time and effort has gone into harnessing the Earth's various renewable energy sources, my favorite application is the Radione. By, passively borrowing tiny bits and pieces of energy where it can find them, your Radione will we you well for years.

Explore the world, late at night, frequency by frequency. You can find reference books and monthly magazines that detail the origins of most of the mysterious signals you hear. Armed with me warm socks, some hot chocolate and a little patience, you are free to roam the far corners of the Earth. But most of all, enjoy your Radione and don't forget to mention it to others. like many of my fellow Tesla admirers, I have been working on a Tesla motor (about 40 beetle power that runs off of nothing more than a 30 foot high TELTENNA and a good Earth ground. (who knows, with a little luck and some of your ingenuity, you might be just the person to break down the free energy barrier that Tesla searched so desperately for.

If you would like to learn more about Tesla and better understand his mindset, an excellent collection of his patents, notes, and scientific papers are available from your local library. Oh, and by the way, if you feel someone watching over your shoulder, making suggestions and prodding you on from time to time, don't forget to thank your old friend, Nikola NV
